Andh Kanya Prakash Gruh is a residential school for blind and visually impaired girls in Ahmedabad, India. It was founded in 1954 and today serves around 200 girls.

The school started with just four students in a small rented house. Over the decades, it has grown into a full campus with 15 education rooms, 40 residential rooms, a science lab, two computer labs, a music room, a library, a playground, and a mobility park designed to help the girls navigate real-world environments.

The girls live on campus and receive a full education in Braille from nursery through Class VII. For higher studies, they attend local schools and colleges alongside sighted students. Beyond academics, the girls learn life skills that help them build independence such as cooking, home management, music, physiotherapy, and more. Some go on to pursue vocational courses and professional degrees.

The school is run by dedicated volunteers who have become qualified teachers over the years, giving their time to make sure every girl has the support she needs.
