Our Mission
Light Her Path is a student-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit supporting blind and visually impaired girls in India. We raise funds and awareness for Andh Kanya Prakash Gruh, a residential school in Ahmedabad that has given girls education, independence, and opportunity since 1954.
Every dollar we raise goes directly to the school, so more girls can access the resources, life skills, and education they deserve.

What We Support
Education: Braille & Academics

Girls at AKPG receive a full education in Braille from nursery through Class VII, with access to a science lab, a Braille library, and two computer labs.
Music & Vocation: Skills that build futures

From vocal and instrumental training to physiotherapy and vocational courses, girls build real skills that open doors to careers and independence.
Life Skills: Independence for life
​
Students learn cooking, home management, and health which are the everyday skills that let them live confidently on their own terms.
